Some sounds are welcome whenever they're heard:
Dogs' affectionate snuffles or cats' comfort purrs,
As simple and common as wind in the trees
Or as layered as music I've loved fifteen years.
My teeth in grilled cheese are consistent in sound;
The baseball's is different off bats, gloves or the ground.
The sound of breathe against my neck gets my heart pumping
right,
But so do the theme songs for the shows that I like.
