The restless mind writhes like half a worm.
If this is meaning or coincidence, I cannot discern.
Restlessness is depression's bipolar opposite.
It wanders, ceaselessly searching, until it doesn't
Do much of anything (exactly what appeals).
It is the persistent inability to persist,
An all-consuming unconsumedness,
The ultimate side-effect of genius,
The inevitable consequence of feigning thus,
An unburdened freedom so onerous
That I thoroughly doubt it is survivable in the long term.
