Sentences

It started with one of those sentences that could use some more time in the lab.
Freud slipped on my direct object, and he's suing for all that I have.
It's just like me to double on the clutch like that, to choke,
and just like that, like always, she stopped laughing at my jokes.
That was the sudden, random beginning of a routine, inevitable fall.
All of a sudden, and just as expected, I hardly see her at all.
