A Certain Effect

The sight of your face has a certain effect.
My mind lacks any thoughts now, that I can detect.
When pushed anywhere near me, your very breath
Keeps my breath inside, rather scares it to death.
When I'm anywhere near you, I can't help but smile
Like a dog's mouth stays open after running a while,
and you come to me asking if I'm glad to see you?

In view of the facts, I guess I wonder, too.
