Double-meanings each double the size of a text,

Into which our imaginations fit, to add texture.

To use film kicks them back out, uninviting.

I mostly just watch shows when I like the writing,

But in skilled hands, film's potential is exposed,

Every cut adding to the story a texture of its own.
