Life Advice That Also Applies to Card Games Three Quarters of the Time

To cure a life that's less than art,
Romantics say, lead with the heart.
That's no good way to be a man.
It's too squishy for a batt'ring ram.
It isn't to be done for show.
The heart's all blood and veins, you know,
and not a thing folks want to see–
A mess, best left for poetry.
