The Major League Curveball

Baseball was my first love,

and as is typical in elementary love,

I only know two things about baseball.

I know about the major league curveball.

Nobody is good at hitting it,

Some are just better than others,

So they have altered their definition of success.

I also know that I have watched too much baseball,

Because I, too, have an altered definition of success.
