Burdened

Freud invented psychology, and wanted his mother,
and imposed this as standard on millions of others.
Einstein reinvented physics and ran out on his wife.
Such is genius when it's burdened with the ordinary life.
Dickinson found alternatives – she shut herself in.
Her life out of life was considered her sin,
But for someone so extraordinary, to be regular's a fall.
Heck, I envy Emily her life, and I'm not a brilliant man at all.
