Too Big

Life stores its beauty behind accidents.
There is nothing in this world I can't comprehend,
But more than a few things too big for intent.
No, life's great insights and mysteries are to be tripped over.
I want to fall headlong into the skies behind my eyelids,
So that I find myself soaked,
So that I find myself cloaked
In knowledge and understanding and wonder.
These are the moments
That both the poets and the scientists live for.
We just put different metaphors to them.
