From Beginning to the End

Some lives tell one coherent story, from beginning to the end.
Some start and stop by patterns, write the same story again.
Some people's paths are in dimensions. They live large, for short or long.
Some live brightly but in secret, better noticed when they're gone.
Life is broad; death unexpected. 'Til one hard end, life's quite forgiving.
Life is rote or life is odd, but it's the best excuse for living.
There's no need to own the stars, but you should give yourself a chance
To find your acre in the end zone, spike the ball and do your dance.
