Holidays are as welcome as paychecks,
If not quite as frequent.
Nobody knows better than the two of us.
We had a promising start
(Which is another way of saying fast),
and decided on a Christmas Break
From each other, three years ago.
I think it's working.
This poem is neither based on a true story nor named for a Green Day song, but maybe it could be and should be, respectively.
