The Street Free Agent

I was the street free agent.

I came back unrecruited, unhailed,

and four years, I kicked back and kicked tail,

But now I'm getting too old to play.

But now, the time has come that I'll be replaced

By someone younger, and sent on my way.

I just hope the new kid has as much fun as I did.
