Along the creek a young boy walks
and listens as a young girl talks.
Around and down the river goes;
As water, life too downhill flows.
A young man into manhood grows
and seeks the knowledge each man knows.
A young girl grows to womens' plans;
Ahead they meet up with a man's.
Accepting each the other's debts
and credits, shared life wider gets,
As introduced are things and places,
and children with familiar faces.
As children change, by days and weeks,
All meander with their creeks,
and though at sea the river ends,
A mountain rain the cycle mends.
Prompt: Write a poem in which each line begins with the same letter. If you're really brave, write lines that all end with the same letter as well.
